You made me laugh really hard.. :\

You probably would get more downloads on this scenery peice if you made it look more like walt and more like mickey but keeping in mind the poly count. Also, mickey looks a bit small.....

I don't see how a texture can make a human mannequin look like Mickey Mouse. I think more work really needs to be done to modelling.

dude like i said im not done yet this isnt the finished product it takes time to make something look right dont worry ill make it look right just hold on. and i am making this for mainly 2 reasons
1. im in a group project to make disneyland and no one has made this yet
2. it needs to be made so people can stop complaining about not having one

First of all, the statue of Mickey looks like the "classic Mickey" of the 1930's and 1940's, before Fantasia, when irises were added to improve his range of expression.

Secondly, you guys seriously need a chill pill. Superstrike presented a very early draft of a piece that people have been whining about wanting since RCT3 came out, and all you guys can do is criticize and denigrate his hard work.

Go play somewhere else, guys, or better yet, put your money where your mouths are, and present something better to the community.

I'll get off my soapbox now, and terrific work, superstrike. Don't let the few naysayers get you down.

If you bother to read my post you'll see I haven't said anything bad about the recreation, but rather the REAL LIFE statue showing the truly evil man that was Walt Disney.

Just for the record, I posted some things before to help improve the model... If you think this is wrong, I won't post constructive critique anymore. Gawds.

Gentlemen,

I am certainly not attempting to start a flame war, and if you read all the comments in this thread, I think you will see that I am not neccasarily addressing you two.

My point was that somebody is actually trying to create something that the entire community has been clamoring for for two years, and the overall tone of this thread is extremly negative toward superstrike and his efforts, bordering on mockery.

And that is a shame.

Ok, my problem is; it just looks like some Poser or whatever models he's downloaded or something.

To call it a "WD and MM Statue" it requires 3d modeling; just not texturing.

I agree, You guys need to stop being so immature and start giving him credit for what he is trying to do. Some of you guys are making fun of it and stuff, and dont even know how to do Custom Scenery. So lets show a little respect, okay?

Hi Superstrike. Let me just say that I am thrilled that you are even attempting this. When I attempted to make my monument in my Disney Park Land of Legends, I ended up using a golden lion because the set of statues in the game are so limited. It was either a golden lion, a stone lion, or a woman without arms. I certainly wish you the best of luck with this project and look forward to crediting you in my park.

If I was of any use in 3d modeling I'd offer my help but as it is, the best I can offer is get out of your way. I ensure you that your efforts are desired and appreciated by some in the RCT community. :)

That's what makes game modelling so fun ;) That's why I love it so much; I love the challenge of creating something that looks great in game but doesn't effect the FPS :)

Cacheuxi, what a pleasant surprise to see you still visit these boards! Whatever happened to your Disney characters set? Has it been released anywhere on the net? I've searched for it, but couldn't find it anywhere.
